Comment Guidelines

We value dialogue.  We encourage it.  Occasionally, we might instigate it.

As you comment, use the Wildland Fire Service Values and Principles of Duty, Respect, and Integrity to guide your thoughts.

Focus on the “what” rather than the “who.” If this doesn’t sound familiar to you, brush up on some AAR guidelines.

Personal attacks or accusations will not be tolerated.

Vulgar language?  The comment section of this blog isn’t the place for it.

Keep your comments on topic.

Links can add value to a comment, but we don’t like spam or advertising. No bots allowed.

Use caution if you include personal information such as phone numbers, physical or email addresses or twitter handles.

We reserve the right to remove, hide from public view and/or edit any comment for any reason. We reserve the right to read comments before they are displayed on the site.  This might take a minute or a few hours.  Please be patient.

See something you don’t like, or that we might have missed?  Please email us or give us a call.
